What is IPv6 Migration?

March 2, 2022

Transcription

IPv6 migration, the transition to a successor standard to IPv4, is an unavoidable response to IPv4 exhaustion. At the time of the internet’s creation, the IPv4 standard was introduced and seemed to be an ample supply at the time, but by the late 1980s, it was obvious the supply would run out.

A10 Networks Thunder® Carrier Grade Networking helps service providers, content providers, higher education institutions and enterprises achieve seamless IPv6 migration by supporting both IPv4 preservation and translation and tunneling between IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
