Public cloud is a model in which resources such as virtual computing resources, applications, and storage is typically provided as a service by a third party rather than hosted in an organization’s data center.
Key advantages of a public cloud include the ability to consume resources on an on-demand basis without the need to provision, deploy, and maintain the associated on-premises hardware and software. These services are offered by cloud service providers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Secure application delivery in a public cloud can pose challenges, especially working in hybrid or multi-cloud environments with on-premises systems like most organization do. But there’s a solution.
