Here’s to a great Affinity Partner Virtual Summit 2020

The Affinity Partner Virtual Summit was created to deliver an unmissable experience to our A10 partners, and to reflect our ongoing focus and commitment to the growing network.

Our partners are a key part of A10’s business; it’s therefore our continuing ambition to showcase our ever-evolving proposition as a leader in secure application services, and to explicitly demonstrate the value of being an Affinity channel partner.

We’re dedicated to strengthening our channel organisation and to ensure all partners, current and future, are empowered to sell A10’s products and solutions and to grow their own customer base. When our partners succeed, we succeed.

This year, despite these unprecedented times and the current climate, we were delighted host over 350 partners at a digital Affinity Partner Summit 2020, with two days full of insightful content from partners, customers, and a very special guest speaker, Roz Savage.

The exclusive blend of insights and news, alongside a customisable selection of updates and interactive features, made for a truly exciting atmosphere, even virtually. We had a great mix of speakers and attendees from across the EMEA and SAARC regions, represented throughout the event and in the sessions.

Over the two days, our attendees were also encouraged to find their competitive streak and join the league of A10 Alphas. By using their newfound knowledge from the Affinity Partner Summit, there were quizzes and tasks to complete, and points to earn to rise in the league tables. With so much energy and interaction – of course there were some amazing prizes to be won, so congratulations to our fabulous winners!

Keynote Address

In an inspirational address our CEO, Dhrupad Trivedi revealed his new vision for growth, and highlights why there’s never been a more exciting time to be a A10 Networks partner.

NEC’s Sell to / Sell Through Message

With each success story, there is a partner’s focus and dedication behind it. In this interview with Islam Al Dashash, SE manager from NEC Dubai, and Hesham Elsherif, principal system engineer, spoke about the success of this partnership.

Training and Certification

A10 Networks created a certification program with the new A10 Certified Professional (ACP) and A10 Certified Architect (ACA) designations. The certifications are a powerful tool to help partners drive business and confidence with customers looking for solutions in the availability and security areas.

Vertical-Focused Case Studies

Geared around growing partners’ understanding of A10 solutionsthe vertical-focused case studies demonstrate how the company supports service providers, “Scaling Service Provider for the Home Worker.”

Personalised Sessions

Personalised sessions were designed to empower and provide invaluable knowledge, information, and practical advice.

  • Commercial partners were given insights into how they could move up to the next partnership tier and take their business to the next level.
  • Technical partners embarked on a deeper technical dive around “Scaling the Service Provider for the Home Worker” with A10 experts.

EMEA and SAARC Market Trends

An update was given covering surveys on Multi-cloud environments and 5G security that were recently published in conjunction with the BPI Network. This session provided a short update on the technology impact of COVID-19, and where these developments can open new conversations for our partner community across different territories.

Security Challenges of E-commerce Networks

E-commerce traffic is increasing day by day and COVID-19 has had a dramatic effect. This presentation explained why the e-commerce network is so critical, the challenges the online industry is facing, and how A10 Networks can help.

Case Study: Securing E-commerce Networks (Technical Breakout)

This session shared how to plan for e-commerce network security, key components to consider, the traffic dynamics for an e-commerce network, and challenges during the planning phase all in the light of A10 technology.

Demo: Experience How Ingram Micro Gulf Runs Demos and Workshops Quickly and Efficiently

Value added distributor, Ingram Micro Gulf, provided a demo of the A10 Virtual Lab, explaining how the virtual lab can be used to run demos and workshops to improve product knowledge and ultimately build pipeline.

Middle East Telecom Giant Scales Out Security for Massive 5G Rollout

Deploying A10 Networks Thunder® CFW in a scale-out approach enabled the service provider to optimize the performance, 5G security, and cost of its 4G mobile network and meet its aggressive plans for 5G deployments. This session provides an update on the business initiative around the deployment of a 5G Network, engagement of the channel, and deployment.

Overall, this was an informative, enlightening, interactive and high-energy event, created especially for partners.
